Laina Milazzo

Laina Milazzo is an accomplished attorney who is committed to making a positive impact in the legal world. With a strong foundation in History and Political Science, Laina received her Bachelor's degree in 2018 from Hofstra University. Her thirst for knowledge and desire to advocate for those in need led her to earn a Juris Doctor in 2021 from Touro University – Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.

Laina's dedication and leadership skills are evident from her time at Touro University, where she held multiple roles of responsibility and honed her legal research and advocacy skills. Notably, she served as the President of the Tort Law Society and Associate Editor in Chief of the Moot Court Honors Board. Furthermore, her leadership role within the Immigration Law Society showcased her commitment to advocating for immigrants' rights.

Additionally, Laina was recognized as a Semi-Finalist in the 37th Annual John S. Bainbridge Moot Court Competition in 2019, where her contributions to the Moot Court Honors Board of Advocates earned her the award for Exemplary Dedication and Service to the Law Center. Because of these accomplishments, she was acknowledged with the Exemplary Contributions in Student Life award. In addition to these accolades, Laina's legal prowess was acknowledged with the CALI Awards for Mastering New York Laws of Evidence and Immigration Law, demonstrating her mastery of fundamental legal principles.

At the Law Offices of Steven Gacovino, Laina serves as a dedicated personal injury attorney, consistently securing top settlements for her clients and advocating tirelessly for those injured. Some of the cases she has worked on have been car accidents, slips/trip falls, and dog bites, to name a few.

Outside of her legal work, Laina grew up on the South Shore of Long Island and now resides on the North Shore, where she enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats. In her free time, she finds joy outdoors, exploring new restaurants, traveling to new places, and rooting for the New York Yankees.
